Timely Reminder of Scale

I am reminded of the series of images that I think Mike Finnie prepared a fairly long time ago that show the relative height of the wind turbines proposed by Viking Energy. The height has since been increased from 145 metres to 155 metres, so it's important to keep that in mind. I fear that most folk aren't really taking on board the visual impact of this wind farm. It will be visible from almost all of Shetland. I must however confess that the visual impact is in some ways the least of my worries about it as the human and environmental impacts concern me so much.
